James “Jim” Lorenzo, a life member, retired firefighter and Rosedale member since 1972, has sadly passed away.

Jim held many offices within our fire company over the years, including Treasurer and Executive Board member and was a committee chair for many fundraisers.

Firefighter Lorenzo was awarded the Baltimore County Volunteer Firefighter Association Hall of Fame award in 2003.

Jim could be counted on to be at the station each year for our annual Girl Scout Cookie deployment for our local girl scout troops.
He was also well known for organizing annual trips to the Maryland School For The Blind to allow children to learn about firefighters and experience a ride on our engine.

Jim was a regular at the firehouse kitchen table for morning coffee and was always quick with a friendly greeting and a smile.

After nearly 50 years of service, he will be greatly missed. We will keep the coffee going for you Jim!
